The Creative Enterprise Hub project provides a range of business support for the creative industries in Leicester. Using our knowledge and experience of the sector, we have devised a package of support to help people in Leicester to start their own creative businesses and to assist creative businesses already trading to grow and succeed.
Managed by Leicester City Council as part of the LCB Depot team, the project runs from July 2010 to August 2012 and is based at Phoenix Square.

Start your creative business
The Creative Enterprise Hub project supports new creatives to start their own businesses, including access to 9 months of workspace and IT facilities, wraparound business support, such as advice and workshops bespoke to your needs, a business postal address and assistance from a panel of creative professionals.

Grow your creative business
To support creative businesses to thrive and grow, Creative Enterprise Hub will be offering intensive workshops on:
- Successfully managing projects
- Pitching and presenting to potential customers to secure work
- Skills in effectively employing and managing staff
These workshops will be tailored for creatives who will learn how to become more effective by improving their competitive position in the local, regional and national economy and broaden their opportunities to apply for longer-term bigger contracts.

Raising awareness
The Creative Enterprise Hub team regularly attend events to raise awareness of the project to potential creative businesses in disadvantaged communities across Leicester City. Outreach work often involves meeting with partner organisations, attending community and creative networking meetings, giving presentations and talking to potential beneficiaries.
