A Cultural Exchanges Festival event, Weds 1 March, 5-6pm, free

Now in its sixteenth year, the Cultural Exchanges Festival (27 Feb-3 March) is held annually by De Montfort University's Faculty of Arts, Design and Humanities and run by third year Arts and Festivals Management BA (Hons) students.

The Festival welcomes a range of national and international guests, including the renowned former BBC War correspondent, Martin Bell, celebrated designer Wayne Hemingway, best-selling novelist Nina Stibbe and legendary USA investigative journalist Greg Palast.

The first Leicester Asian Film Festival will showcase cinema from the subcontinent like you have never seen before. Taste it at the preview given by the Festival’s associate director, Monia Acciari.

The Leicester Asian Film Festival runs at Phoenix 16-19 March.
