Saturday 20 April across the Cultural Quarter, including LCB Depot
Based around Orton Square in Leicester's Cultural Quarter, the St George's Festival is an annual family-friendly outdoor festival.

From 12 noon enjoy madcap music and mirth, Morris dancers, maypole dancing, knights & princesses parade with Sylvesta the Jester, printmaking, face painting, a beer festival at The Exchange bar, and folk sessions at The Ale Wagon pub from 5.30pm - and a mighty Dinosaurus walking around the Square!


Pop in to LCB Depot from 11am for creative family activities and entertainment. Look out for more food, drink and other surprises inside and outside in our rear courtyard, including:

Build your dragon poster

Pop in to LCB Depot from 11am for Round 2 of How To Build Your Dragon. We have an amazing collection of Dragon scales to add to our masterpiece that are dried and ready to go BUT we still need some more of your wonderful artwork to complete our giant dragon!

Free family workshop from the team behind the exhibition Elemental Encounters (see below) - bring the kids for a Mask Making workshop + make a shield!

Which Dragon Trail dragon do we have waiting to be spotted, somewhere inside LCB Depot?!

See the exhibitions Elemental Encounters : State of Art 3 (DMU Fine Art exhibition in our Lightbox Gallery) and Stephen Lawrence Day Posters (in our Print Room), as well as our wonderful street art at the front and rear of the building.
