LCB Depot is a service operated by Leicester City Council to support the city’s creative industries. 

We offer workspaces at both Phoenix Square digital media centre and LCB Depot in Rutland Street  exclusively for creative businesses, all of which have 24 hour access. 

Our workspaces are aimed at companies and individuals working within, or providing a service that is an important part of the supply chain to, the creative industries:

Our Phoenix Square workpaces range in size from 20m2 to 90m2 and cost from £215 to £970 per month plus VAT. Services such as electricity, telephony and internet, and business rates are charged in addition. A full breakdown of our costs can be found in our Workspace FAQs.

We have 22 workspaces at Phoenix Square, and 53 at LCB Depot. All spaces are unfurnished but we can discuss lease options on furniture if required. We offer a managed internet and telephony system meaning you can plug-in and go from the day you move in.

Our standard lease is a two year term with a three month written notice period. Providing you give us the sufficient notice there is no surrender fee if you do not complete the full two year term. In certain cases we are able to offer shorter lease periods and would be happy to talk this through with you.

To be eligible to lease one of our workspaces you must be working within the creative industries.
